Pier 49 Pizza is a Utah County based pizza chain known for its rich sour dough crust. The crust pairs exceptionally well with their BBQ Chicken pizza.
I enjoyed ordering pizza by the slice on lunch breaks.
The company hit the market in 1991 and grew to a dozen restaurants throughout the state. Unfortunately, the chain has been shrinking of late. I suspect that some people are confused by the name and believe it to be a San Francisco based chain. Here is an interview about the chain:
